FOR Andrew...My Last Post On Mr Board!

Andrew,
I got your sorry pm and I sent you a pm back! I know you said on the board "you didn't want anymore email complaints", so "I defended myself" just like anyone else would do in my situation.
Oh I realize the majority won't stand up to Deano, so they remain silent when someone is being viciously and unfairly attacked on the board. And others choose to join in on his verbal abuse and attacks and "gang up" on ONE person just for personal fun on the board.
I never was afraid of DEANO and I'm still not afraid of him because I saw him for what he was , a "coward and a bully" .
If that is the type of person you would rather have on "your board" Andrew, then so be it, but that clearly says alot about you as a person. I have Zero respect for you anyways!
I certainly don't respect you for the the way you allowed him to attack me on the board constantly over and over again, and never deleted his abusive posting towards me.
It wasn't until recently when I PM'D you and had to ask you to help me with this issue of Deano harrassing me, that you finally started deleting post of his, and then you complained about me sending you the complaints.
So if you want to ban me, then do so... I don't care. I will always be proud for standing up for what I believe in, no matter what others think of me for it. Someone else said you were an unprofessional person and I agree with them 100%.
You know , I was just thinking MAYBE, MAYBE that is the reason Steve Perry has never given you an interview!!

The only other person that I know of that called Drew "unprofessional" has 26 personalities and belongs in a suit similar to the one Dr. Lechter wore in Silence Of The Lambs. We'll miss you, Lori.

Lori, what I can't understand is that this board is what it is.....like it or not, hasn't changed, always been this way. If it provides you such misery, why do you continue to post here.....help me understand? Part of me believes you get some kind of a thrill posting something that will rile somebody, then play innocent. You had to know what you posted last night about scarygirl would get somebody riled. Lots of people have gone up against Dean, heck happens all the time. LOL, I'm not scared of him, hell if I disagree I'll tell him so.
If you don't like the way Andrew runs this board why continue to visit??? You must have gotten some enjoyment to continue posting here all this time. And to attack Andrew professionally on your way out is an extremely low blow.

Andrew does not have an easy job

Still it doesn't excuse anyones behavior
More like a bunch of kids fighting in the backseat
while Andrew has to drive
Sometimes he just has to turn around & wack somebody
before the car goes off the road.
Sometimes it's not fair.
I hope you really didn't mean the hurtful remark about Perry & Andrew's interview either

I'll say it again in this thread, if my saying it's about time you (properry) showed up, and that was taken as a diss, I didn't mean it that way. If I said anything after in carelessness taht was misconstrued, I didn't mean it that way either. I went to bed about midnight but apparently stuff went on that I'm not aware of. And this is just laughable. Steve Perry has declined interviews by every music magazine imaginable. Your fair haired boy is just a recluse and that isn't anyones fault, let alone Andrews.
This site is what it is, you can choose to fit in, or in your case, you can overly obsess on someone like Steve Perry and take your licks for it. And like was said earlier, let it roll off like water on a ducks back. It's sad you can't do that.

This is interesting. I'm of the opinion that people who declare their intent to vacate with a big dramatic goodbye have absolutely no intent of
actually leaving anything and are actually just doing it either for attention, or so that people will beg them not to go, or both. Seen it happen many times. Seen the same people do it more than once, even. It's just a sad attempt to stir up the shit even
more than it already was. If you're not happy with a place, no one can make you stay. Why bother going through a whole big alleged exit? If I hated it here, I'd just quit coming.
As I said in some other thread around here... it's Andrew's site,
he pays for it, so he has the right to handle it however he chooses.

Bottom line Lori, if you want to participate and be a part of this board you have to toughen up. That doesn't mean complaining to Andrew every time somebody hurts your feelings. That means either ignoring the baiters, giving back as good as you get, and/or facing the consequences. I've had to do all three and so has Perryfaithful. We're both still here and I've made some friends in the process.
I'm not saying I don't still get frustrated and even royally pissed at some people and situations here. Believe me I do and when it happens I take myself out of it for a while. I don't expect Andrew to handle it for me. He really doesn't have time to read every post and arbitrate every situation. It took me a while to realize it, but if you want to be here, and you obviously do, you have to fit in with this communty rather than trying to change it to suit you.

Well, separating yourself from this board and separating yourself from Journey are two different things even though this is called a Journey board. I for one am done with what's called Journey today. I'm just not done with MR and this is the board where my MR community is. I may not get along with all of them all of the time, but I don't get along with all of my real life family all of the time either.

2.
Ignore the baiters, give back as good as you get, and/or face the consequences.
3.

Fit in with this community rather than trying to change it to suit you.
