A friend e-mailed me this, and it's hilarious! Uploaded it to my YouTube... Dude is drunk, pitchy, and has NO stage presence... Check out the way he clumsily tosses in some pieces of "Message Of Love" in the middle and at the end. Thanks for butchering a classic, jackass!

Yeah, that was about 3 1/2 years ago, and I was absolutely 4 sheets to the wind... I CRINGE every time I watch that video, because bad video picks up every little horrible gaffe...

I do remember getting great crowd reaction, though. Of course, drunk rednecks butchering a Hank Williams, Jr. song also get great crowd reaction... LOL!

Yes, I'd practiced working in a piece of MOL because the songs are very compatible, but when it came time, I just didn't execute it well at all... Besides, no one there had probably even heard the song.

Anyway, thanks, Larry, and yes, one of the many reasons I quit drinking... LOL! I've butchered so many songs drunk that I was at the point of giving up.

There was one of me doing "Oh Sherrie" a while back, that was aired a few times on local cable access show a few years ago. Very high quality video/audio, and I was actually quite pleased with it, but I never got a copy. I should try to hunt that guy up and see if I can get one.
