What's with all the drama lately? I suppose that's part of the charm of this board, isn't it? People fighting with people. Posts/threads getting locked/deleted alltogether.

I have never met/don't know any 1 fan personally. But I have visited here and other Journey boards for years before I even started to participate, and I'd like to say that I process and remember info pretty well. I've gotten to know a lot of fans by their names and by how/what they post. It is astonishing to me that what used to be a certain group of hardcore Journey fans/friends (you know who I mean) have resorted to lashing out and saying the most terrible things to each other.

Has it all come to this? Broken friendships/ties over a musical band's decisions?

Far for me to tell Andrew what to do, but I think he should let everybody he ever banned back in, as a gesture of goodwill. Start a clean slate, erase the current resentment and animosity among this group of Journey hardcores by bringing them back together. Then, maybe, we can get back to good, clean fun debates again.

Or am I being idealistic and naive?

I think you're being naive. You mentioned surprise at the lashing out but then suggest Andrew open it up to exhiled users. Don't ya think that's what got them banned?

Yes to both of the above.

it takes a lot to get banned from here. andrew is pretty gracious with the requests to behave and gives plenty of warnings. vacations work for some, but bannishment is the only answer for the others.

Just a question, WHO has ever completely been BANNED from here. I know a few vacations here an there, but other than the few trolls we had over the years, it seems eveyone has ben let back in......

Hey, watch it, don't call me names . I pretty much keep to myself, except when I want to talk about SP. Nobody put the idea for me to start this post. I am just a nice person and didn't like to see all the rancor and personal attacks among people who used to be friends. So shoot me .

There is a list of 6 or 8 that will nevr post here again...EVER. But yes, I do grant chances to those I think are genuine.
