We are busy working for her here in Texas. My husband is throwing a fundraising BBQ and silent auction for her Sunday. We are working as hard as we can. Almost every woman I have talked to down here is voting for her. Got my fingers crossed.

Hillary would have to win by margins of 30% statewide in Tx, Oh, and PA to overtake Obama. She might win all the 3 states and STILL be behind Obama.

From what I've read, it looks like Hillary will in fact win Ohio, but I've also read that it's not looking too good for her in Texas. It's going to be VERY difficult for her to stay in the race, if she loses either of those states, considering that her husband has publicly stated that she MUST win both Texas and Ohio "to have a chance", and that was his direct quote!

As much as I don't want a republican in there, this is stupid. Jesus, his birthplace didn't seem to be an issue when he was fighting in OUR military, why is it now?

I've grown so sick and tired of political bs over the last 12 years that I may never vote again.

Jesus, if you get Hilary in there, it'll be that whole bunch of psycho repubs on witch hunts like they were with her hubby. And then we'll see she'll be screaming like she has been this past week- an embarrassment and hardly presidential.
Obama is untested. Great speaker, but no history. I'll probably vote for him, but it's because I don't want a repub and Hilary just is becoming embarrassing to watch.
McCain's too gunhappy and anybody that Bush endorses AIN'T for me.
The Demos have done diddly shit since they've been in, even though I voted for them on promises of ending the Iraq quagmire. I'm pissed at them too.

Oh good lord. He was born to parents stationed outside FOR THE US NAVY. It's not as if they weren't citizens, weren't from the US, chose to live outside, and come on, they were serving the US. This is dumb as hell.

I definitely agree that this story is absurd. I was stunned when I read it. I have ZERO intention of voting for McCain, as I'm not sure he'll even live long enough to serve one term! That said, the political hacks who dig up stories like this really need to get a life.

I'm all for John McCain. He's the only one of the candidates currently out there who has a proven track record working with both parties to solve problems. Being a Democrat in Arizona, I have long respected his ability to work both sides of the aisle, focusing not on party agendae, but instead focusing on what needs to get done. Obama can talk all he wants about change in Washington, but McCain has consistently worked towards it.

Oh, and Hillary? As much as I thought Bill Clinton was an excellent Commander-in-Chief, he undermined himself in his handling of his own extramarital "activities." I lost my trust in him, and she loses points from me because of that. I would never vote for her.

There is no way in this world a black man will become US president, sorry it won't happen. No, I am not a racist, I'm being realistic. And it's the sad truth, and IF he did become president, it won't be for very long.
