I guess good old Hank just can't keep his mouth shut! I love this shit! It's time to get Boston and New York to hate each other, even more, if that's possible! It was also nice to see Jim Rome take Steinbrenner to task for his comments today. As Rome said, when the Red Sox are playing on the left coast, any stadium they're in becomes "Fenway Park West"!

As much as I love to hate the Steinbrenners, this is exactly what makes being a Sox fan (as of 2004) so much fun, and why it's the greatest rivalry in sports. Too bad the Yankees haven't won a Series in this millenium.

Fuck you, strangegrey. And plenty of people give a shit. If you're pissed that your own teams suck, don't take it out on us long-suffering Sox fans. My grandfather was born in 1919, and had to wait until he was 85 before his favourite team won the series.

Fuck off, idiot....It has *zero* to do with Boston.

The entire sport is tainted with steroids. All of them are cheaters, if you think that the Mitchell report's convenient exclusion of some red sox players absolves them of the guilt of steroids, you're an extremely gullible individual...especially considering the ties Mitchell has to the Red Sox organization.

The fact of the matter is that everything in the MLB from the mid-90s on, is bullshit...*including* the 4 WS titles the yankees hold and the 2 WS titles the Red sux hold. Nothing is legitimate in this sport....

and if you think that the sport, in light of the continued unveiling of massive steroid conspiracy, is not losing serious droves of fans....you're as ignorant to the reality of this as Bud Selig is.

MLB is simply not worth watching anymore...no one cares. The only reason you do, is because as a red sux fan, you have FAR more to lose, given the fact that your team is holding the title right now....and until you acquiesce and realize that the current title (in addition to the 13 prior) are bullshit, you (along with other red sux fans) will be the only ones holding the flag.

Much to my chagrin, even I have to agree that I respect the hell out of the Yankees. I think George Steinbrenner is a nutbag, but he's one of the best owners, EVER, in the history of sports! You can criticize Steinbrenner for a lot (remember the Billy Martin years?), but you can NEVER question the guy's desire to win, regardless of how many dollars it took!
