Sources tell TMZ the Van Halen tour has just been canceled!

We're told arrangements are being made right now to cancel hotel stays for the tour -- which was scheduled to continue through April 19th. Sources tell us the reason for the cancellation is Eddie -- that he is having "issues."

The last three shows had already been canceled. There have been reports that Eddie was out of it during concerts -- and video of recent performances in which his guitar playing was atrocious.

Reps could not be reached for comment.

Seeing that I can't stand EVH and DLR, this is great news. I wish Eddie the best with kicking his habit of being a complete prick. Good luck, dude.

Wow, I know some people that are going to be very unhappy.

I've been a Van Halen fan for a long long time, but I'm actually surprised it held together this long. Eddie is just too unstable.

I feel bad for Wolf. It's got to suck seeing your dad be a complete mess like this.

How long would Perry and EVH last on tour together? I say 3 songs.

Journey is a bigger train wreck -- just a different kind.

Perry would fake a hip injury after the end of the third song and EVH would guzzle a bottle of Jack Daniels and throw his guitar into a stack of amplifiers, setting a fire that burns down the arena.

Well, I'm glad they made it to Orlando before this happened! My husband took my teenage son and he LOVED it and loved watching Eddie play, since he is an aspiring guitar player himself. So glad they pulled it together that far at least. Sorry to all those who will miss out now.

Glad I got to see it here in Dallas in January. They were scheduled to play here in Dallas again tomorrow night. Guess not so much.

I bet Valerie is regretting letting Wofie go after Eddie assured her he wasn't going to let the kid see him like this.

Valerie is hard hitting her book tour and has been on every major talk show speaking
of him. Maybe he can't handle her success or chatting about their issues, he's vulnerable.
Musicians are weird, they can't help it. I hope he bounces back. :?

Letting Wolfie go was a bigger mistake than I thought. Not only did the harmonies sound like SHIT, but he seemed like a voice of reason that was probably sorely missed.

Yup...her timing was awfully suspicious. Seemed like a well disguised way of tearing him up at the seams. I hope that bitch balloons back up to 350 pounds.

Mike, a JD guzzler, never let it affect his performances like Eddie does.

I don't know Dan, my husband and his friend who saw them live and are big DLR fans, thought it was great. They admit Dave's voice isn't quite the same, not that it ever was great, but they were very happy with the whole concert. I think you have to be a DLR fan to get it.

Yeah....I will agree that Dave's voice wasn't what it used to be. He was kind of a caricature of himself......wearing rhinestones and all kinds of hats and things. But he was in great shape......had a 6 pack. I was impressed with that alone!

Not talking about Roth's voice...I'm talking about the signature voice, Michael Anthony's, being missing in the harmonies. And the fact that they were replaced by someone that looks like the fat kid in Goonies and sounds like shit is even worse!!! Roth sounded like he always has...very average.

Well, to those who saw them live, it was fine. And to my 14 year old son, it was really cool for him to see a young kid on bass. And they thought he did a great job. Not everyone is in tuned to those harmonies like you are Dan :P ;)

Van Halen actually admitted that they couldn't do the harmonies live because Eddie has half a tongue, Wolfie really can't sing and Dave needed the breather so they took extensive time and takes (and pitch correction I'm sure) and used ALL pre-recorded backing vox. That's why it "was fine."

Hey, at least Perry went out without trashing his legacy. Give the guy some credit. He could have come back anytime he wanted to, but knew he couldn't deliver the goods. Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth on the other hand were happy to deliver a half-assed show and collect your money.

I had tickets to see this trainwreck on March 30th in Saint Louis. I'm actually happy to get a refund. It probably would have sucked bad based on the boots that I have seen on YouTube. Eddie's drinking and drugging has reduced his mental capacity to 10% of what it was in the 80's.

He's right. Go watch the boots on YouTube. Michael Anthony's pre-recorded backup tracks are coming through loud and clear on many of them.

Believe me i dont need youtube vids to hear the Vocals. Try listening to Wolfies vocals and you will hear they he is doing the Hi part of the harmonies. Sure like many bands the vocals are sweetend but they are live. Ive watched over 40 non youtube videos of this tour and they are singing live.

As journey fans you guys certainly are experts on is it live or not live Vocals...LMAO....

I had plans for the Jacksonville show last month, but changed my mind about going because of some of the clips I'd seen and bad reviews. I would've been pissed if I got one of those half-assed shows. Luckily, I was able to sell my ticket.

I never understood having Wolfie in there. If you're going to get DLR back, you damn sure owe it to the fans to bring back MA. I get it that Eddie dug having his son in the band, but it's bigger than that.
