I never thought for a minute he would do a tour. Glad I got to see them back in the day. Robert is no different than any other singer that toured to death in their glory years. His voice couldn't sustain a tour with the old material, so who can blame him. He has zero to prove to anybody. His legacy is golden.

EXACTLY. I KNEW he wouldn't do it. I still haven't seen the show videos, but the reports were really good. The way Plant's voice has been in the past, if the reports were good, then Bob got lucky! There's NO WAY Plant could do a tour with those songs at his age. If they were smart, they'd do the deal like Pink Floyd where there was a show in New York and a show in LA and that's it. Make sure they're far enough apart to have his voice recover.
I think that Plant is doing the right thing here, btw. Go out on top. Imagine if they did a full tour and his voice was just crap. That'd be what people would remember. I bet JPJ and Page are super pissed...
Yikes! Hey, maybe JSS would fill in!
