Cheap Trash doesn't even play The Flame for some reason. They're obviously too cool.
I'm not sure why you always feel the need to spew your anti Cheap Trick sentiments every chance you get, but you should at least get the facts straight.
First off, they do indeed play "The Flame" live. Not at EVERY concert they ever do, but it still does get mixed into the set list. Cheap Trick regularly changes up their setlist from tour to tour to keep it different and fresh. "The Flame" while a big radio hit, was not written by the band so in fact it did NOT make them all their money as you suggested. Their record label at the time was forcing the band to record songs from outside songwriters. Therefore they never embraced the tune as they would have if it was done by choice.
Also, most of the "die-hard" Cheap Trick fans have heard them do that song many, many times over the last 20 years and would actually prefer to hear something else in it's place.
All I know is, whenever the Trick comes to town, whatever the setlist may be, they have never disappointed me. They are a great live band with an excellent and highly under-rated catalog that goes far beyond their handful of hit singles.
Robin Zander rules! Long live Cheap Trick!!!
