Is it just me, or does anyone else notice that it seems kind of too laid back around here without Deano? I know he goes over the top sometimes, but it makes for some good discussions. It's kind of like American Idol without Simon Cowell. It's still good, but Deano gives the forum that extra-spicy seasoning that makes it unpredictable.

Dean has the option to return at any time. He is not on any sort of "vacation." He's simply not posting at this point.

You can't help but miss him.

I'll never claim to be a spokesperson for anyone...I'll never ever claim to know all that's going on...but I can assure all of you...Dean is very much alive and well on this board, from a status of "Not forcefully thrown off the board" (that I know of) . Lack of posts does not make him banned or "on vacation" or anything else. I think HE is just 're-evaluating' what his role was, is, and should be here. This is MY take on it...It's a big slap in the face to someone when you go and make a million (I know...not a million...but you get the point..) posts on a board, become one of their biggest and most popular members, and then get shut down because people (sometimes the same ones) pick a fight with you...just to pick a fight and see what kind of response it elicits... And THAT comment is NOT directed at Wombat....at all...but rather at the aforementioned 'people', and most of them aren't the "regulars" here....we all have our spats with Dean...in good fun.... I think Andrew gets the short end of it too...just cause it's his board. People need to quit ASSUMING that because someone doesn't post for a few days that Andrew's banned them....
