Yeah!! Tell us how it was. We are going on the 27th 8) Can't wait! I only found out today that Daughtry was playing with them. Why has that not been better advertised I wonder? It's not even clear who their opener is in Ticketmaster.

For someone with a mancrush on Richie Sambora, you sure are cynical about the band.

Why are you poking the bears so early this morning?????

Daughtry ROCKED. No other way to describe it. That boy came out and just tore it up. He and his band had a much harder edge to them than I had anticipated. Yeah, he played his radio hits, but some of the other stuff was amazing....he is very talented.

As for Bon Jovi.........whether you like him or not, Jon knows how to entertain a crowd. He is a great showman, and keeps the crowd with him the WHOLE time. He puts a lot of heart into his performances. Does he lip? I don't know, and am not even going to go there. I am sure the band participates in all the "tricks" of the trade. They sounded great, I was very entertained, and as far as I could tell, so were the 20,000 others at the sold out AAC. The fact that Bon Jovi remains relevant today and continues to sell out large arenas when many bands from his day are playing much less, um, desirable venues, is hard to refute.

I have seen Bon Jovi countless times, and his shows today are just as good, if not better, than they were 20 years ago. His concerts are always some of the best I have attended, and last night was no exception.

All right, SJ, have at it.............but remember where you are staying.

Shot through the heart? I'm assuming you mean, "You Give Love A Bad Name"? "Blaze of Glory"? THAT would have been cool!

Thanks for the review, Gayle. I've seen them all the way back to Slippery When Wet and those concerts where absolutely incredible. Nothing will beat those, but I do understand that Father Time does things to the voice, and while you can't sing like you used to the imposrtant thing is giving the people what they want, and he still does that at a relatively high level...even if he does lip a lot. Glad the two of you had fun.

PS I'll give you my real review when I'm packed and about to leave Dallas.

Blaze of Glory was one of the best songs. LOVED it.

And, Richie looked.......older. Tired. But he can still play. He sang solo for I"ll Be There For You. Jon wasn't even on stage. Very cool.......Richie has very strong vocals. 8)

Of course I mean that... when the phone rang the first (of many) time, I heard nothing... then all of a sudden "SHOT THROUGH THE HEART!" and Gayle and Jen screaming like schoolgirls.

...And yes, I also heard you two singing during Blaze of glory too, Gbunz, F.K...

With good reason....I think he has a lot on his mind:

Police are recommending that Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora be charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI and child endangerment stemming from his March 25th arrest, People reports. Police in Laguna Beach, California have turned the case over to the Orange County District Attorney's Office, which will decide what formal charges will be filed. Legal experts say if Sambora is charged with both counts, a jail sentence is likely though it could be plea bargained to a lesser offense or he may get rehab instead of jail.

The 48-year-old rocker was arrested last month after police spotted his Hummer driving erratically. Also in the car were Sambora's 10-year-daughter Ava from his marriage to Heather Locklear, Ava's teenage cousin, and Richie's girlfriend, Jenn Mallini. Arraignment has tentatively been set for May 7th.
