My little girl has now reached the age of loving the movie Grease (have mercy on me!). Since the soundtrack is regularly played in my house now, I gotta say that the vocals in this Sha Na Na song are pretty damn good.

Here's the song from their TV show. I used to love this show when I was a kid. The singer's name is Johnny Contardo. Great singer...awesome outfit too

I wouldn't even go out on Saturday nights in the 70's till I saw if Johnny finished the show. I have seen on Youtube Bowser singing with him recently and he still sounds the same only looking more 60 ish. ShaNaNa had an ablum called Grease for Peace in the 70's. Johnny sings In the still of the night. It is to behold and he has more recent albums. They did honor to 50-60's music. Too bad they couldn't write.

That looks pre-1980 when Queen's "The Game" came out. I think Freddie copied his look. :)

Only one I remembered was Bowzer.

Yeah, I have seen that as well. His voice still sounds amazing.

Bowzer, on the other had, looks like he ate the rest of the ShaNaNa band.
