Since the big change I haven't gotten any email notices of topics posted to or for PM's..don't know if there are some waiting until I log in. Anyone else?

No problems for me, I get emails for pm's.......and I didn't even know you could set up emails for topic posts? Probably a good thing, I get enough crap in my email.

Also,,, I dont understand why you want to have an email alert to let you know about a PM waiting here for you. Dont you know that you check MR before you check your email? DUH!

You might need to recheck your profile settings and make sure that this option is still checked off.

I did talk to Andrew on the phone a few weeks ago...and I didn't complain or ask him for a dang thing...quite the opposite, in fact. The wombat is cool as heck and ya gotta love that aussie accent.

You might need to recheck your profile settings and make sure that this option is still checked off.

Come on Beshad ya know you did....so what?...I wasn't making anything out of it so relax....I'm sure you talk to many folks all the time. ....and sure I gave you my number...I've given it to several folks...I prefer to talk on the phone sometimes so I can get a better sense of the person then just thru type written words...in your case I offered to talk on the phone after you had attacked me on the board and after you wanted to talk in IM....I said, if it's cool with your wife, I'll talk to you.....for one thing I wanted to find out why you were attacking me when I hadn't attacked you...wanted to hear where you were coming from and find out if you had some kind of agenda going on....and I wanted you to hear me ..find out how I really am and not just judge me by type written words.....these messages....we give viewpoints and our likes and dislikes... but they don't tell how we really are as people, ya know? ..The only reason I could remember as to why you might be attacking me was because I got onto you once for attacking Jeremey...so I also wanted to talk to you about that....I've met Jeremey and Sabrina... their very nice folks..I wanted you to know that,...wanted to tell you about them as people and not just take from things you've read on the net, gossip and inuendo and attack him unfairly for it... thats all.

The same is happening to me, and my profile setting was intact, too. I tried toggling it off and back on again, hitting Submit in-between, then sent myself a PM to test it, but so far no e-mail notification.
