Pizza hands down. Not that dominos shit either. I'm talking downtown manhattan style. Thank God a few NY pizza gurus moved out to Cali and brought their magic recipe's with. Gotta run down to Santa Monica for it, but hey, price you pay for the good stuff. :D

OR

Image - the only cola I know of that has "splenda". I can't stand "aspartame".

I'm addicted to coke .... as in Coca Cola. I've always had the need to open one first thing in the morning. Been doing this for 31 years since I was 18. But, I only have one a day now. Used to drink a 6 pack and a 2 liter bottle every day when I was young!

For food, my wife's homemade woopie pies are fucking to die for. The best you will ever have!

I've never understood what makes something "comfort food" and the term bugs me, to be honest.

Don't they have Woopie Pies were you come from? They are two round cake like top and bottom pieces with a frosting like substance sandwiched in between. Search Google Images and see what I mean. Some are not so good, but my wife makes the best ones ever.

In fact, i might be stopping for that on the way home b/c its just that kind of day. :(

Or possibly scotch on the rocks with a twist. Its that kind of day also.

BJG needs a hug. Or some ice cream.

My friend, her boyfriend, and I are taking a road trip this weekend to go back to my hometown.

Saturday's cook-out is nothing but comfort food:

Burgers, hotdogs, BBQ chicken, macaroni salad, potatoes & cheese, tea, lemonade, banana pudding, hot fudge brownies, and fireworks (not a comfort FOOD per se, but comforting to blow shit up, yes.) and then for breakfast Sunday is my Momma's scratch made buttermilk biscuits & bacon gravy. Mmmmm!

Anything cooked at home is comfort food though. :D

Ice cream all the way for me, as well as a good cuppa (tea that is). My mom is English, so tea was always an important staple in our house! When I was a kid and had a tough day at school or something, my mom would always offer me a cup of tea. I swear that woman thought any problem could be solved over a cup of tea. Now I have to have my tea every day. And it's got to be real British tea made the right way. :)

It used to be coca-cola for me. It was amazing that feeling of relaxation that washed over my entire body as the first sip went down-a true addiction!

Thank heavens for Topamax-it changed my tastes and now I can't stand Coke. Now, my comfort drink is Starbuck's Caramel Hot Chocolate. MMMM
