With only 61 delegates short of overall delegate majority, while Hillary needs 245, there is very small chance left that Hillary would become democratic candidate... beside that, long and bitter campaign made potential Obama-Clinton bill highly unlikely...

Could Obama make winning move if he'd take Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius for his running mate and compensate for some advantages Hillary Clinton had over him:

- Kathleen Sebelius is female, so many female-voters dissapointed that Hillary won't be president candidate, might vote for president candidate with female running mate (in Feb 2006, the White House Project named Clinton and Sebelius as two of its "8 in '08", a group of eight female politicians who could possibly run and be elected president in 2008)
- Kathleen Sebelius is roman-catholic, and this is the population who strongly preferred Clinton over Obama... maybe roman-catholic running mate could endear Obama to roman-catholics...
- Kathleen Sebelius is state governor since 2002, so she has lots of experience (Time magazine in Nov 2005. named her as one of five best governors in USA)... many Obama critics spoke about his lack of experience...

Yeah, I'm from Europe, but I'm very interested in Democratic primaries in USA...

I think we're holding out for Obama-Frank, Obama-Dukakis, or Obama-Byrd at this point.

I saw her give the Democratic response to the last State of the Union Address. I wasn't really impressed. Then again, I was never impressed by either Hill or Obama, and yet here we are.
I know Jim Webb has said he isn't interested, but I think he'd be a stong VP choice. Maybe Biden a close second.

I think a great V.P. would be Pat Buchanan. Love that man. Actually, not that I'm voting for any of the three left, but a good V.P. selection for the democrats would be Byron Dorgan. One of the few democrats I respect.

Voted for him a couple of times. '96 primary (which I still claim was stolen from him via fraud) and 2000 general. Would've voted for him in '92 if I was old enough.

Doesn't Biden have heath issues? Could he handle the stress? I mean he comes from Delaware. The state is like Monaco with the Dupont's being the Royal family. No real hard State issues for Biden to contend with.

Webb is definitely the guy to go with.

I agree with you once again. He got savaged more by other Republicans than even McCain did in the 2000 election.
