Pirated Revelation bundle (w/ concert DVD) in Philippines :(
I was at a strip mall having Brasil style all-you-can-eat, in Pasig Metro Manila,
and found out that the second floor of the mall hosted a hive of fake DVD/CD vendors.
Asking price for the Revelation bundle was P750.00 for 2 CDs and 1 DVD
(that's about 17 USD. Most CD's sell for just P35, DVD's for P50 to P70)
I wanted to snap a pic, but the vendors quickly got scary-ass unfriendly about it.
For all I know, the tracks could simply have been ripped from "Uncle Vito's" page, etc.,
and the DVD footage is just stuff from Chile and the YouTubes of Vegas....
but I don't know.
I didn't buy, and none of the throng of fake-DVD buyers were biting either, while I was there.
"Wag naman... Kawawa naman si Arnel...", one laughed.
I already called the Optical Media Board, but the stooge I spoke to didn't seem to care much.
If someone doesn't stop these vendors, and release the legit album here soon,
there's probably quite a chunk of Journey revenue to be lost.
FWIW...
