Hey everyone,

I have a friend who works in digital artwork and design spend some time with me to flesh out my ideas for an album cover. Since I want to show you what he did...obviously I have to reveal the name of my project with Alex. The project is going to be called...

COLD HEART

I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly, but this is the image. I hope you like it! We are going to change the font and size of the letters to make it stand out a little more, but I think it looks great!

Yeah the font looks a bit funny to me.. needs to stand out more. But yeah, apart from that it looks good.

Ok, silly me. It looks great, Jim. First music & now art. You are a man of many talents, but you're right about the font being "iffy". Maybe the words would stand out more with a darker border. Still, very nice.

I agree about the font. I like the concept. Can't wait to see and hear the final finished product.

Thanks Jason, but I didn't do it. I sat down with an artist and showed him exactly what I wanted, and he did the rest. We sat together for about 4 hours today working on it together, and I REALLY like what he came up with. He had some great ideas, and I think the image is going to fit well with our style of music.

I just can't WAIT for you guys to hear the new title track... It's my best song yet. I should have it from Alex within the next couple of days, and I'll DEFINITELY post a link as soon as possible.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it! It will look much better after we tweak the font and make the letters a little bigger.

You don't have to wait to hear some of the demos though...go check out my myspace if you haven't already! It's in my signature block.

it's funny you posted that, because my buddy mentioned making the heart look like an engine...maybe this is where he got that idea from? I was pretty set on what I wanted though, and passed on the idea. I've had this image in my head for a while now.

You still talking about that sunburn? Thanks BTW. It will look a little better when we revise the letters though, and be more legible. He probably won't be able to fix it for over a week though. I'll keep you posted. Hopefully you'll be able to hear the new song by tomorrow.
