In 2000 (i think) Journey toured with foriegner.
I was at one of the first concerts and they played "Good Time Tonight" and "World Gone Wild"
In Hinckley MN

They were both awesome songs and were both announced as being songs on their new CD (Arrival)
Was really bummed out both of them didnt make the original cut .....yeah i paid 30+ bucks for that Japanese CD

Thank goodness World gone wild made the cut on the US CD,
I remember Journey also playing a Ballad on that tour from the "new" CD. I belive this one also didnt make the cut.
Can anyone refresh my memory and tell me what the new song was? And if it was on Arrival, or Red 13 WAFTE?

thanks much,

Still remember World gone Wild live and smiling the whole song.

"Having such a good time..." (or something like that) rings a bell. I definitely remember them playing it live.

No. Having Such A Good Time...or Good Time or whatever it was was a song played in concert that was never recorded on any disc. I think the song you posted was, GB.

They played "Good time toight" and "World Gone Wild" in 1999 on the second leg of their Vacations Over tour. They took off 2000 to record Arrival...although they had some South American dates in September of that year, and a couple of west coast gigs at the end of the year, including the show that was used for the Arrival DVD.

Maybe the ballad you were thinking of was the "Live & Breathe" intro they did to Wheel during those first couple of years? I want to say I remember "Good Time" (was it called "Might As Well Have a Good Time?") from my first show in Nov 98, along with Fillmore Boogie.

I have the show, and actually listened to it a couple weeks ago at work, don't remember hearing something I haven't heard before.
