They are scheduled to play Australia sometime at the end of the summer. Apparentally, Glee has opened a few markets for Journey and other '80s bands. By being packaged with Foreigner, Syx, REO and a few other legacy acts, the band's management appear to have accepted the fact that a team effort may be needed to have a successful tour this year. The festivals that Journey played last summer as a lone melodic rock act are now getting the band along with a few of their peers also this time around. While Foreigner has done well touring Europe, REO and Styx may be getting into some new markets by Azoff having them packaged with Journey in Germany and other European destinations.

All these bands are getting a chance to play nice venues they could have never played by themselves, they just have to slice up the pie a bit more than they did last year.

It has also been mentioned that they'll be touring Brazil for the first time and will likely be returning to Chile.
