CITY OF THE ANGELS live?

I have really enjoyed the vids on youtube featuring songs from EVOLUTION.....amazing performances! Was COTA ever played live? Since so many people here are sick of LTS, I think it would be cool to hear the two songs played back to back like on the album. Then we wouldn't have to hear the long version of LTS......I think EVOLUTION is their best overall album after ESCAPE....

Ummm...City Of The Angels couldn't have been played in concert in '78, since that was the Infinity tour. COTA was on the EVOLUTION album, which wasn't released until 1979.

I don't know about that. They were playing Separate Ways as early as June of '82.

Was first played in Tokyo 04/15/79, and was played occasionally on the U.S leg of the tour.
To my knowledge it was never played after the 1979 tour.

The Infinity tour ran from Feb 1978 to August 78 with the odd few dates till the end of the year.
The Evolution tour ran from March 1979 to August 79 with another couple of dates to years end.
The Departure tour ran from March 1980 through to end of September 80 with a few dates in Japan in October to end the tour.

Infinity was released January 1978.
Evolution was released April 1979.
Departure was released March 1980.

That list is incorrect nowadays as new (old) shows have come to light.

That's true. Certainly a possibility.
