Apparently according to someone who caught the show this morning. Journey will be on next week talking about DSB again  So that makes it July 24th!!

Someone might want to verify this.

I guess they couldn't hold out for one more week and air it the same day as the original release which was July 31st. Seeing as Escape hs been on the charts the last two weeks it's as good a time as any.
Eclipse on the other hand is almost out of the Wal-Mart instore top 100, with it's total sales starting to stagnate at around 60,000. Might as well promote a winner with Escape.

That is pathetic. Absolutely Pathetic sales numbers. Neal should be embarrased. Crap album = crap sales.

Good album but a terrible price point, no promotion of it on iTunes or Amazon and perhaps over confidence because of the back catalog's current popularity made this a team effort when it comes to sales disappointment.

Escape seems to have someone on it's side at Columbia as it's been on the charts for two weeks now, even without the band promoting it.

even though its cliche riddled,
an edited AIP has a chance at getting airplay
wonder if they have already given up on eclipse?

They won't dare play stepped down on TV. Faithfully sounds like absolute garbage that way no matter who is singing it.

Question would be...do they start playing as the Today Show goes to commercial break? That always seems to be Journey's luck.

No disrespect to Pineda, but i have always cringed when he sings it. Horrible vocal on that song.

SP sang all the Journey songs stepped down in his solo tour (at least from what my limited expertise in music can tell). Some of them sounded off from what we are used to, but I must say Faithfully (imo) were always the highlight (listening to the collection of FTLOSM concert boots that I have).

I've only had access to Steve Perry's solo concert via You Tube, but I thought the Journey songs sounded pretty good, even if they were stepped down.

Well, if Arnel starts talking about how the lyrics for DSB came to him in a dream one night in 1981, we'll have to call bullshit.

Neal looks pretty good when it comes to professional videos. Maybe the surgeries really look great only under a major lens?

It's great to see Jon getting some love in that video; he's every bit as pivotal to the Journey equation as Perry or Schon.
