Raised on Radio Full Concert?

Im sure this has been discussed before, but with all the people on here that have bootlegs and old concert videos I thought I would give it a shot. Does anyone have knowledge or know of a bootleg or partial concert of their Raised on Radio tour? I know they taped the GCHI video and BGTY at Mountain Aire, but did they ever tape the full concert? What about more footage from the Omni Arena in Atlanta where Ill be alright was taped? I did come across footage from the ROR tour on youtube of the song only the young, but it was pretty poor quality.

Out of curiousity, what is keeping them there? Is that a decision from Sony, or does the band control that?

Im sure if Perry wanted to, he could remaster and release one of those concerts. He seems to like to do that quite a bit.

It would be hard to find a show with old Moon face sober, that's for sure.

If and when that is ever released, I'll definitely pick up a couple copies of that!

The closest to a ROR concert is the fan-circulated/copied dvd called MTV documentary on the ROR tour. It was originally broadcast on CBS late night...60 minutes...promoting Journey's ROR tour. Some good concert footage...similar to the Frontiers and Beyond documentary dvd, which is produced by NFL Films, which ran about 90 min.

I think you can see sequences of both films on yt.

Not sure who you are referring to here, but Neal was the one drinking on stage at the Chicago show. He had a huge bottle of some sort of liquor up there and took some pretty big swigs from it. It kind of surprised me.

I've got that on VHS. IIRC, it just had the concert footage from the hits on ROR. Most of it was interviews. Still good though.

The title song, ROR, was on there, too, which was such a treat because like you said, the hits (like CGHI and IBAWY) were already seen in other video versions.

Yeah I have that too! I love watching the concert footage, but there are only like 4 songs. I wish that sony/perry would release the full concert of the mountain aire festival or omni arena show.

The only other concert footage from ROR is this "Only the young" video. Its in pretty rough shape, but still cool to see more footage from that concert tour. Not sure what arena this was shot at. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFGmWC1AB6I. Too bad we cant find the rest of this concert.

Mt Aire was filmed and has never been released obviously, They have a few hundred tapes of all of there shows and those are sitting wasting away just like STEVE is,

And the shame of it is that Mountain Aire was just an absolutely legandary show. If a longer tape does exist, it's just a shame that they don't release it.
