Posted: Sun Jan 08, 2012 4:32 pmAFAIK There should will be a CD Single / Promotional copy available at NAMM with 1 tune off the Steve Smith record of Neals - rest of THAT record should be out soon as a project. Most of the ducks are in the row - I'd guess mid to late Feb? but I've lost bets before.

Dying to hear the Schon/Smitty -- and I think -- Jon Hammer instrumentals. Sounds crazy cool.
My guess is the Deen/Marco material will be akin to the Soul Sirkus project, but without JSS and Virgil Donati. It took me a long time to warm up to SS but there are some good tunes on that album. Friends to Lovers is one of my favorites now. I'm not a fan of Deen as a drummer, he's just too basic, but I am curious to hear him singing on original, non-Journey related material, and I know Marco has a great voice too, so I'm curious to see what they threw together.

Sweet!!!!
I hope he stops letting his love interests manage is online presence in the future and just put someone good on the pay roll for that. I mean, his website is great, but it might have set a record for being the most out of date website ever!

Journey isn't doing anything right now, so what is Neal so busy about? Maybe he's remastering Eclipse.
