I understand people being true to their roots and sticking with what they know, in regards to genre and such, but very lately I've been wondering what the purpose is in making records in a genre that just doesn't sell that much anymore. Robert Fleischman isn't well known at all. I know Journey, Van Halen and the like can eventually sell a million records releasing one today, but that's them. They're big named artists. If someone interested in producing music wants to make money, they're going to have to get into the musical climate of today and make music that young people like. We bought Boston albums when we were kids, and that's what was popular. Too many people our age have let their love of music fade and are too busy doing other things, like trying to pay the bills and raising their kids kids. Most people our age just don't follow it anymore, sadly.
