Fan shot videos normally distort the sound and do not provide a true capture of the experience. Anyone who judges a performance, based on a YouTube video, simply isn't getting anything pure. The only thing you can get anywhere near accurate is enthusiam, even if it comes from a bunch of screaming fans, trying to drunkenly distort what the band is putting out.

If you mean his tone isn't smothered in delay and reverb, and he's not playing 7,000 notes per measure, yes..
