Troubled Child....
Ok...I ventured out and stuck my big toe in the Arnel pool to hear what that vicious song would sound like under Arnel's guidance.... Umm, no. They toned it down and made it more bluesy, which was a GREAT move and Arnel WAS doing great...until the chorus. His accent...part of his being and his own persona not a problem for me, but his pronunciation and voice...didn't catch up to the slower pace and flattened out far from the lyric's end.

No, I'll stick with the original singer and master of the Rock waltz.

Troubled Child is a kick-ass song and only the original singer and master, The Voice, can sing that...as it is, besides him, I feel that only Jeff could have pulled that one off with clarity and precision.

Not heard them mentioning any news of them sitting down and writing
some new stuff. Anyone heard anything

If he's hitting the studio, I doubt it's to write with Journey. Studio time can cost big bucks, so you want to get the most out of the time that you have. Since he has other projects already on the burner, my guess is that he's going in to record or edit that material. You wouldn't want to spend heavy $$$ on studio time just to kick around new ideas.

are they recording or filming these shows ? it would be cool to have a blu-ray and audio companion of the
2 albums performed, since I don't think we are going to get anymore archive Perry era live concert
releases, plus the rare tracks
