Posted: Thu May 18, 2017 3:06 amI've often wondered about Mickey and why Journey didn't call him when Augeri had to bail out. But I also remember the egocentric battle for control when JSS was ousted. Perhaps the idea of a frontman with a profile already on par with Schon/Cain's was a non-starter.

I think they made the right move with JSS after Augeri. Just wish they would have recorded an album with him.

How do you call JSS a better fit than Mickey? Starship had more core Journey DNA. A bay area sound; power ballads as well as rockers. JSS was always more metal.
