Hard to deny that this is vastly more interesting than anything Journey is doing these days.

Journey doesn't have an ounce of the creative juices to be able to pull something like that off. Even a low budget video out shines the stale old bread they are serving these days.

and I have the feeling that (If they record) Cain will get his way and it will be a ballad fest.
They sad thing is Journey's setlist doesnt need any need and new ballads.

Maybe they will settle for an EP like Red 13

Feels pretty dark to me. I like happy music. There's enough darkness in the world naturally.

This is music from a completely different planet from Journey. I also think this reinforces the narrative that JSS would have taken Journey in a very different direction creatively, and one that would have alienated both casual and hardcore fans.

But then W.E.T reinforces the opposite. Different bands different sounds

JSS/Schon collaborations, like "Believe in Me", and some Sirkus tracks, would indicate very very much otherwise.

Of course a Dream Theater/Bumblefoot/JSS collab doesn't sound like Journey. What a silly uninformed post.

Completely agree with this!

Journey with JSS on vox would've been both, a new direction similar to Van Halen with Sammy, and, what VH didn't have with Sammy; a live set of the classic stuff that would've included harder classic songs such as "Message of Love"...
