Yes! They played Girl Can't Help It at the store last night.  I don't know if this means Steve Perry is going to tour soon.  First, they played No Erasin' in regular rotation, and now Girl Can't Help It.  Maybe this means nothing, but it could be Perry pushing songs on the stores to prep for a tour.    Just sayin'

Uh, no.

Well, unless he can dust off his clone and put that past version of himself on tour.

If you're talking health-wise...perhaps...but....hmm...I wonder. I don't think Steve has anything to do with that as much as his management might. Maybe his management is doing a Herbie and getting the corporate channels to put his music on rotation. By the way...what store was that? Can you please recall which one that was? Thanks in advance.

Also...Silver Bells is number 16 on the AC charts: https://www.billboard.com/charts/adult-contemporary

Kohl's Department Store. No Erasin' has been in normal rotation since the new album came out. And last Friday, I heard Girl Can't Help It. At first, I thought it was some other song and thought "somebody is stealing from Journey!" LOL But it was Girl Can't Help It. Now IF they play Stone In Love at Kohl's, Perry is going on tour!

Back in the day, When your in Love for the first time and I Stand Alone were both played on a dozen or more store background radio. In addition they also were both played on the last of our "Lite Rock" station.

Now we have about 5-6 Country stations. But our only Indy radio station played No Erasin a lot, and was also Steve's 2nd interview here in MPLS.

Now, they are playing Steve Perry's version of Silver Bells at Kohl's. So perhaps Steve Perry is planning a tour for November/December 2020 where he can include some Christmas songs in the setlist.

But I am at a loss as to why this has anything to do with Steve and touring. ??? Did management say anything about influencing stores to play his songs? ??? am I missing the connection? Which Kohl's are you talking about?

I am just taking a wild guess about the touring. Probably no tour will happen. But on the local classic rock station, the other day, the dj introduced Lights as the song Perry wrote about Los Angeles, and then changed to be about San Francisco.. Did Steve Perry push his story on the radio stations?

Maybe I am reading too much into this. Perhaps there isn't a big conspiracy going on. It is just weird.

And now time for my joke.....
The Steve Perry Tour will be in November/December 2020 with the first concert in October in New York, of course.
