I don't care what anyone says...Augeri may not have been pitch-perfect, but his voice had an organic soulful warmth. He was great.

Agree, it's a great song and Augeri is WAY under rated. They hosed him for sure. :(

No offense - but I really dislike this song. Even with a nice solo.

They have too many ballads. So many they can't even play their last 2 ballad hits live.

And frankly, its not who Journey is. And its not the sword they should die on.

Sorry to disappoint you, but they built a good portion of their legacy on ballads. Two of the biggest selling ballads of all time are Journey songs. Are some of the albums too heavy with them, sure. But yes, it is who they are. And there's no reason to run away from them.

But they already have a plethora of them and don’t have any room in the set list for them. Why make any more? Especially the bubble-gummers like AlltheWay? Livin To Do is more the style they should do.

Great album. Take out All the Way, Loved by You and With Your Love and it’s even stronger,

Still want Schon to do another Piranha Blues album. I think covering 'Livin To Do' would fit nicely.
Maybe get Joe Bonamassa to sing it, and then trade all the epic guitar solos.
Oh, and tap Rolie for the B3 keys on the outro too.

later~

Just because they don't play them in concert doesn't mean they aren't going to do them for an album. They barely play any new music at all at their shows, so it really doesn't matter. Again, I'm fine with them limiting the number to one or two or a reasonable amount for whatever release they put out.

Saying they shouldn't do them, or saying it's not what they do is ridiculous.
