Not gonna get into the politics of it, but I really wish Cain would get through his hard headed skull that he is not a lead singer. Period.

Since I had seen TNC's post last night about the possibility of 2026 being Journey's farewell tour, earlier today I was thinking that I would assume that Cain would still record solo albums. But I was thinking that I just wish that he would drop the religious and political type music, and mostly focus on his keyboard playing.

For the record, I am religious myself. So I'm not trying to be anti religious. But I just don't get into that style of music in general. And I think that most of us on here agree that he should drop any and all political topics in his music.

It's out in full today. I listened. Nice melody. Maybe down the road he can repurpose it for Journey the same way he took his religious song, "Freedom In Your Grace", and made it into "Live To Love Again" on Freedom.

Jim Peterik recycled a Christian Rock song that he did years ago and had Jimi Jamison record a slightly altered less religious version of it on one of Jamison's solo albums.

I wish that Cain would release instrumental only versions of a lot of his Christian songs. I'd be far more inclined to listen to them then.
