Marco Interview (JTT, Randy, etc )
Posted: Mon Dec 08, 2025 7:20 amIn a recent interview with Metal Mayhem podcast, bassist Marco Mendoza touches upon JTT recordings that are in the can (1:07), replacing Randy Jackson, and being asked previously to play bass on a Journey album (1:09).
I recall photos of Neal in the studio with Marti Fredericksen recording new JTT stuff. Good to hear it re-confirmed.
As for the Journey album Marco was asked to play on.... I wouldn't be surprised if it was the harder-edged Eclipse. Just a feeling.
MM has nice things to say about everybody including Jonathan and Arnel and Narada.
Apparently, nobody could find Randy as rehearsals were about to begin. Pretty dysfunctional.
