Trailer For Jon's New TV Project

Postby The_Noble_Cause » Mon Apr 06, 2026 10:42 am

In true grifter fashion, Jon's new TV project "The Gospel of Rock & Roll" is actively seeking financing and is crowdfunding potential investors.

Donation levels range between $250 - $50k. $10k gets you a 30 minute zoom call with Jon. $50k gets you dinner with Jon.

A link to the trailer/concept reel is included below.

My favorite part is how they include images of artists (Springsteen, Gaga, Dylan) who wouldn't be caught dead on here.

Jon recently interviewed Deen on his tour bus for an episode.

So (according to RS) Neal is filming a documentary on tour while Jon is filming a TV show.

Here’s a novel idea…..howabout these two work on new Journey music instead? Just a thought.

There is no interaction between them onstage, so I don't see that happening anytime soon. Jon occasionally looks to Deen to make sure they're locked in, as does Neal. It's as if they're leading two different Journeys onstage at the same time :) That lack of chemistry makes you focus on Arnel instead, but his vocals no longer provide any wow moments, so the delivery becomes rather workmanlike. Which is why songs like "Of a lifetime" sticks out in a positive way.

Despite an icy start, after a few shows, Neal was coming over to Jon's side a few times and jamming together during WITS. I saw the footage. However, this may have stopped already! I haven't watched anything lately - except to hear that the songs have been detuned.
