Very simple. The remaining highest seed plays the remaining lowest seed, and consequently the others fall into line. I just looked. If WAS)(#1) loses, Pittsburgh will play Montreal, because NJ(#2) and BUF(#3) both lost, leaving the Pens as the highest seeded team left, playing the #8 seeded Habs. Boston will play Philly, if Montreal wins.....
If the Caps win, WAS will play Philly, and the Pens will play BOS.
In the west, if CHI wins, SJ will play DET/PHX winner and CHI will play VAN. If NAS wins, SJ will play the Preds and VAN will play DET/PHX.
