New Mexico?!?! NM 0-1 conf and 0-4 all ...I am LMAO!! All BSU were ever going to accomplish w/this game is getting in some good practice time and a W next to their name ...seriously!?! The "M" lost a rung when they beat M'shit's and LSU
moved down the ladder after beating the pumpkins ...deservedly so!!

And you already know about the Pigs/Tide ...you want #1 you're going to have to take it w/a "W"

And one more thing, I don't like this BCS crap any better than the next person!! I spend more time
trying to figure out the system/rankings than actually enjoying the games, but I am learning it...you're
a smart guy what's the prob ...didn't I read around here somewhere that you're a WARF or something?!?!

Oregon is the best team in the nation, period. Ohio State is fucked. If Alabama wins out, as does Oregon and OSU, Oregon will leapfrog them too, because their schedule is so much tougher.

Would you be in favor of just letting Boise State in a title game just to see if they can stay with a major conference team? Then depending on the outcome - the discussion can be laid to rest?

If Boise State is unbeaten they should play for title...

Also...if BSU is never going to be allowed to play in the Big Show...don't rank them in the BCS standings....cause its a slap in the face to rank them, and then not let them dance.

Yeah they kicked the sheeeeetttt out of NM, too!!!

They may have started out with the toughest schedule, but until the season starts, the teams
actually play and we witness their toughness ...we really don't know ...look how
many ranked teams have been knocked out and how many unranked teams are now ranked ...it's crazy!!
They think they have the toughest schedule, so just kick their asses tomorrow ...

#2 How many BCS opponents do they have this season?!?!

Seems to me they wouldn't have to leapfrog them if the system was correct in the first place. Shouldn't the rankings already be set up to award teams with the tougher schedule? But the system awards teams that run up the scores, and subsequently not the converse. Bama squeaked by Ark and didn't fall. In theory Bama wouldn't have to only lose to fall. If they won by ONE point to a team they should have crushed - they should fall as well....the system is FUBAR.

Won't happen.

When TOSU wins out...they go.

Period.

Did you learn nothing from the Rose Bowl last year?

Oregon folds like a tent in the face of a tough defense.

TOSU "rolled them" and would do so again this year...maybe even WORSE!

You're confused Nurse. You are thinking of Oregon State who BSU already beat. Oregon are the guys with the flashy uniforms who run faster than anyone else.

Yes, this year I would. Why? Because after today's Alabama loss, we have what, four teams undefeated...Oregon, Ohio State, BSU and TCU. Throw out TCU because they play high school teams. Next, I would really consider an BSU V Oregon NC game. Ohio State plays cupcakes every year. Oregon plays good tough OOC teams, as did BSU(Oregon State). Ohio State is getting fat on Troy States and Bowling Green, along with a so so conference. Sure they play Iowa(who lost to a PAC 10 team at home), Michigan State and Whisky. Penn State is exposed as is Michigan. Purdue, Indiana and Minnesota are embarrassing.

If Boise State is unbeaten they should play for title...

Ordinarily I would say no, but this year I agree, especially if it comes down to undefeated OSU, Oregon and BSU. Ohio State is the third best team in that conversation. I think a track meet between Oregon and BSU would be a treat. Let Ohio State slug it out with Stanford in the Rose Bowl.

Also...if BSU is never going to be allowed to play in the Big Show...don't rank them in the BCS standings....cause its a slap in the face to rank them, and then not let them dance.

That is a real good point S2M. Food for thought. Too bad BSU's academics aren't better, or they could have joined the PAC 10, where they would be considered a threat every year.

Heck of a win for LSU. With their speed and talent, if they can clean up the sloppiness and turnovers, they can compete with anyone.

I'm pretty sure that Oklahoma State has a loss. TCU and Utah pla later this year and that'll probably be a battle of unbeatens. 2 good, under the radar, teams.
