You'll be 10-2 after tonight's game, kid! By the way, completely embarrassing display by the Steelers and Sanders in this game tonight. Talk about thumbing your nose at the NFL. That play was fucking shameful. Talk about making a mockery out of the game.

Sanders faked a leg cramp (with Ben talking him into it) to save Pittsburgh a timeout (completely against NFL rules). While I don't even mind that (every team should try to get every edge they can get), he took it to the next level by getting carried off the field (and I do mean literally carried off the field by two guys), and then was right back out there on the very next play. Shameful!

Man, the AFC North blows this year. I can't remember the divison being this horrible for a long time. What a shame. If the Browns were on schedule (i.e., this is year 3 of the most recent rebuild under the now defunct Holmgren regime), they should be poised to take advantage of a down a year in the division. But nope.

The Giants did the same thing last season (actually 2 of them went down) and won the Super Bowl so I say good on them. They got away with it that instance and it worked. Still didn't have an impact on the game. The Steelers soundly beat Cincy tonight. I, for one, am utterly SHOCKED that A.J Greene was shut down. I was expecting him to go over 100 early in the game. He was shutdown tonight by Ike in his worst season.

It was good to see Dwyer go over 100 tonight. I picked him up the last minute on all my fantasy teams. 8)

First of all, it's always shitty to see any Steeler do well. But this really pissed me off, and I'll tell you why: T-Rich has wavered between looking like a top 3 pick and looking completely pedestrian this year. He looked the former the most against the Bengals. After seeing a guy buried behind jokes like Osama Bin Mendenhall and Redman Dip on the depth chart gash the shit out of them, it's clear to me that the Bengals are a terrible defense, at least on the run. So I'm starting to fear that T-Rich is not good. It's very possible. I didn't like him in college and was pissed when we got him that high in the draft.

(actually, it wasn't really a disappointment. I'd expected the Pats to thoroughly decimate them... perhaps a repeat of that 45-3 fiasco a couple of years ago... so the fact that the Jets kept it close was pretty satisfying.)

You really shouldn't be disappointed, at all. The reality is that the Jets suck. They're not a good team. The Patriots should be completely embarrassed that they should have lost to a team that hasn't been able to get out of its own way for most of this season. Leave it to the Patriots to make it look like the Jets actually have an offense (they don't). Mark Sanchez is fucking AWFUL, but EVERY QB looks like a Hall of Famer against this fucktastic Secondary!

True. Throughout the game, I kept thinking, "Why the hell aren't the Pats winning by more than this?" And then when the Jets actually took the lead, it was pretty hilarious. Shame that their defense couldn't stop the Pats from getting that final FG in regulation though. If they had, the Jets (of all teams) would have been in first place for the division, which would have been priceless. As it is, we have another boring season with the Pats, once again, leading the division. I'll be so glad when the Pats reign finally ends. (no offense, I know you're a Pats fan, but I get tired of any team when they dominate TOO long. I've felt the same way about the Yankees, and they're my hometown team.) The good thing about being a NYer is that I have two teams to root for each week, and the Giants usually do at least a decent job.

The Yankees? Didn't they just completely puke on their cleats, and hit about .140 and get swept in four straight? Not to mention, the Red Sox have won more championships in the past 10 years than the Yankees have!

Yeah, but didn't the Yankees win quite a few World Series? I don't really follow baseball, but I had the impression that the Yankees pretty much dominated for a long time, which is why I got sick of them. Same thing with the Cowboys.
(apparently, ongoing domination isn't something I need to worry about with the Jets. Haha.)

Um, no you didn't! You didn't tell me anything. As I recall, I picked the Steelers to win. You did not. The sad part for the Bungles is that I think AJ Green is a top 5 receiver in the entire NFL right now, and his talent is going to be wasted playing for that shit franchise!

The Jets can't even dominate their own city! Don't get me started on the fraud Cowgirls. Team hasn't been relevant in two decades and has one of the absolute worst owners in all of sports!

That and the Steelers offensive line were down to a rookie playing RT and a LG playing C last night. The Steelers went out there and challenged Cincy's defensive front, which is actually quite good (The Browns have a big line-unit too so it should be concerning that T-Rich isn't getting it done) and one of the better units on their football team so to go out there and win in the trench's for the Steelers with a RB who was inactivated since week 1 showed some heart as a team. The Steelers may not be much this season, but they still fight. I like that. As for your Browns, you're turning the corner dude. I expect to see Cleveland compete in 3 years notice.

I've only had one perfect week in the yearS that I've been doing the Pick 'em. Closest I've come to it was last year when I had a 14-2 in week 2.

I did it once. I think it was a week 1 or week 2 of either the 2009 or 2010 season. Can't remember. And to think on my poll for money at work, I was duking it out with somebody with only 1 loss that came down to a Monday Night. Talk about shitting your pants if you have 1 loss and miss the pot haha.

Lol....I kinda screwed up on 3 games this week so far. I don't feel TOO bad for the Aints/Bucs game, as it was close to OT.

No running back in NFL history has ran the ball over 80 yards more than 3 times in a career except Chris Johnson. He gained 200 yards on 18 carries and had 2 TD's in a win over Buffalo.

And, he still sucks! Fuck Chris Johnson. Guy is a complete fucking fraud. I've NEVER seen a guy in the history of the NFL go into the tank so badly after signing such an enormous contract!

I'll agree he mostly sucks nowadays but back when he first started and they had him splitting carries he was actually a very good back. His first season in 2008 we had a 13-3 record he shared the load and still gained over 1,000 for the season. In 2009 he rushed for 2,006 yards to become one of only six players in NFL history to be in the 2000 rushing yards club. He averaged 5.6 yards per carry and 125.4 yards per game to lead the league. He had 2,509 total yards from scrimmage, breaking Marshall Faulk's single-season record.

Jeff Fisher and the Titans decide to make C.J. the feature running back and although he gained nearly 1,500 yards in 2010 rushing that decision to give him the lions share of the work was a mistake.Thing is they got greedy and run him into the ground instead of conserving his talent and maybe having him share the load.Johnson is not a big physical back like Michael Turner or Frank Gore. They could've kept a big physical back to wear defenses down and send CJ in once they wearing down.

Since 2008 Johnson has more carries and yardage than any other back and through 2012 his career stats are 1,300 rushing attempts for for 6,150 yards which is pretty close to a five yard per carry average.Yes he has really had some issues but a lot of that can be attributed to offensive line issues and communication problems within the offense. When his line blocks better he definitely has better results as evidenced the last couple weeks and the 83 yard run for TD he had against Buffalo this weekend.
