Well, here we are......again!
Everything has been refurbished......new carpets, new bar matting, new beer taps, quadrophonic sound, members lounge........all the comforts you all have come to expect.

It spins my head that the last Groper thread was started last July......it's a great place to have when you just want to say something generic, or just tell us all what you've been up to......my darling Kelly and I have been out to dinner tonight at the Mercure Hotel here in Hedland, and very nice it was too!!

Got a little tipsy.......one of the waitresses came over to clear our stuff, and said, 'Anything else I can get you?'........to which I said, 'YEAH!!! get me a bottle of anything.......and a glaze donut.......TO GO!!!!!!!'








To which she looked at me like (What the fuck is wrong with this guy!!)


Oh well, at least Kel had a laugh out of it.......and that's the main thing.

And I guess just to get the right vibe happening in the new Groper......here are some pics.....

Carpets, eh? Now I really need to ask this... is that an Anglo-Saxon thing? In England everything is carpeted... stores, bars, I once even stayed in a hotel where the bathroom had carpet on the floor!

I don't know about the anglo-saxon thing.....in this country at least, tiles are a bit more practical.....but there are some things I love about carpet - like eating it!!
