i'm seeing a lot of things lately in the news about terrorist attacks being foiled and stopped before anything happens.here recently bin laden was in the news saying obama was weak and not ready to be a strong leader.anyone get that feeling this nutcase might strike again soon.with us still in a reccession its scary to think about what another attack could mean.

Dude, there is no war on terror. There's only an "overseas contingency operation". The president said so! If somebody or something gets blown up here, it's probably just spontaneous combustion!!!

The population of the United States will never even know HALF of the shit that goes down behind the scenes, let alone what's happening with our military bases and respond units. there's one issue with catching him.

You're not kidding, and here we, as a general public, are worried about which thong Paris Hilton is wearing in a downtown, New York City nightclub. Sometimes, I think people like that and shows that make me want to PUKE today is the Governments coverup to keep things stirred away from the reality of this world, and that is death, war, starvation, and hate. Every time I see someone walking down the streets with their chest out I can't help but thank what the soldiers do over there in Iraq, Cuba, Afghanistan, you name it. We live in a fantasy world here and sometimes sitting down and THINKING about what's really happening makes you appreciate things more often.

As weak as our border control is, wasn't it reported that there were more soldier's at the borders than the soldiers serving in Afghanistan in the heat of war some couple years ago? This raises many questions and concerns that will never be solved.

The system worked, there was just a failure to share intel.
Factor in the multiple surveillance gathering and wiretapping programs running concurrently in this country (which Gonzales accidentally let slip in front of Congress. Whoops!), and I think we're safer than we have ever been.

Yeah, sure, they might be at the border, but they can't do anything. Everytime they try to lay down the law, they get arrested. So what the hell good is having soldiers at the border with their hands tied behind their backs.
