Carly Simon

I read today that Carly Simon is suing Starbucks cause she says they are responsible for one of her latest albums not selling so good. Maybe, just maybe her album sucked and that's why it didn't sell good? She claims Starbucks cut the price in nearly half to get the units moved out of their stores and Carly seems to think that the slashed price made consumers feel that it sucked without giving it a listen or a chance in purchasing it. Amazing that her two kids are also into music, but I've never heard of them until this Starbuck's article surfaced today and I did a little bit of research. So they must suck too.

The younger generation most likely think so and since they do make up the vast majority of the consumers these days with everything across the entire board....if an entertainment product doesn't catch on with the age group of between 8 to 30 year olds, its probably not a good idea to invest in it.

The only two songs I remember from Simon was "Clouds in my Coffee" which was a hit before most modern day technology, I was about 4 our 5 years old then. And that other song that they put to the Hinz 57 catsup commercials in the 70's.

Carly Simon's voice has seemed to change the last few years, but she doesn't suck....has contributed much good music to the world. Suing Starbucks is absolutely ridiculous though, looks like a desperate attempt to get some cash.

Yeah, honestly. Maybe that's why the album didn't sell well.

I never saw the big deal with her. I found her to be an average singer/songwriter at best.
