Ok, I'm sorry and I truly feel bad for laughing (I didn't until I saw Andrew's post and I knew he must be mostly ok, I swear) but now I have this image of Andrew lying in a driveway tweeting and posting on MR, and it's funny. I've said for awhile that people and their phones are just  - and that people these days are attached to these gizmos to NO end and this porves it.  On the other hand, very good thing for that, having a means to fetch an ambulance whilst marooned immobile in the driveway!!

Sorry Andrew, I hope they give you some nice druggies and kiss it better and send you home very soon. :D

Typing from hospital bed now. Would be bored shitless without this gizmo. Going to read some of my ebook. Sunbaking in the driveway wasn't much fun. Hope to be home late this afternoon.

Thanks for the posts!

Feel better soon Andrew! Back pain is a biotch and if you have something to divert your attention (like an iPhone), then GO for it! Anything to distract you from the pain is a good thing.

I hope you're feeling better Andrew! There are a lot of bad backs in my family, but no one has ever been flat out on the driveway before - that's the worst I've heard. Take care and I'm sure everyone will be on their best behaviour around here while you're recovering! :P

Take it easy. Get your rest. Follow doctor's orders. Eat your vegetables. Drink plenty of juice.

If you do all that you'll be back on your feet & yellin' at me again in no time. :P

Hope you're feeling better, sir.
