Anyone looking forward to NFL preseason ?

The Reds are doing well, but I can do both sports at once. Sometimes,I think, that baseball is just too long. EVERY game in the NFL means something.

Sure about that Squirty? Ask the Bengals if they cared about the last game of the year against the Jets, where they didn't play the starters and got waxed 30-0. The last few weeks of the NFL are sometimes a joke, with teams sitting out the stars.

Very much so. I'm not a huge baseball fan at all... in fact I pretty much hate it. Once the NBA finals are over, I have Wimbledon and the US Open tennis tournaments to look forward to and not much else as far as sports watching goes

But Deano- Isn't that when most of the injuries have piled up ? What is your prediction for the Reds at this point since you said you liked them ? Glad to see you back in full fun mode !

Ehwmatt- I would make a joke about Cleveland football but ,I think, this year they will compete. They have had to recover from the team leaving for Baltimore. We all hate the Ravens right?

Nah, there are no excuses to be made for our general shittiness. I think there are serious question marks for the entire AFC North, including Baltimore. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. I don't see us snagging a playoff spot this year, but I think we are going to have a fun product on the field. This is going to be a long-awaited positive step towards building a good, consistent product for us.

Anyway the pre season is too long, it should only be two games.

sure.so do you think there should be an addition of two more regular season games which mean 18 a year.i think goodell said if they trimmed preseason down to two games they'd add two to the regular season.

No i don't. I also think the regular season is too long as well. There should be two bye weeks one at the beginning of the season and one at the end.

i can't wait until august gets here and the hall of fame game officially starts off the preseason.looks like it will be the bengals vs. the cowboys in canton, ohio.the regular season is still another month away but in preseason we get to see the rookies and who makes an impact and who gets cut.i pretty much like it because it means football is back and its the end of the boring stretch of summer.

1972...and if it wasn't for a guy named Gretzky, it would be 1988 and 1990...

SHORT answer? We don't buy championships. We've never really had a marquee player on the team, and ownership just doesn't like to spend money, or those type of players just don't want to come to Boston?
I mean its Boston. Original 6 team, and owners know they'll fill the seats regardless....I don't know.

Yeah, have fun watching the dude sit on the bench for the next 2 years, before getting a bit of playing time and being released a year or so after McDaniels is shown the door.
This pick is worse than the Bronco's taking Maurice Clarrett.

And I love it!

WTF are you talking about? I'm not a fan of any one person on the team. I'm a Bronco's fan, always have been, always will be. Good, bad or ugly, they are my team.
