He makes an interesting and appealing pitch for it. Don't vote until you watch this video:

Yes, definitely. Love him. He's been in the music biz a long time. He would be honest. You can't replace Simon, so no reason to try to get a clone of Simon. Get rid of Ellen. She's worthless. I love her, but not for AI.

Brett Michael needs to make his own movie Called Don't Stop Believin'. He is becoming a representative for the psychy of all 80s hair rockers. Young people start thinking about what they know of 80s rock, BAM! Brett Michaels. The guy is his own product and he is selling the shit of it. Great business man.

Yeah, its just not the same. If Simon is leaving they should bring her back.

Bret has the look, the experience, the musical knowledge as well as popularity momentum going for him with the recent medical problems and Celebrity Apprentice. But, he suffers from diarrhea of the mouth - just can't shut him up - and you need someone that gives a one or two sentence opinion not a novel. I think he would drive me crazy.

Simon really was trying to bring her on his new show, X Factor. I was going to watch it because they would have been back together, but she took another show, I think. I think they made the biggest mistake letting her go. They make a boatload of money and she deserved a few million more. Ellen has no musical background. She really can't offer much, and, to me, four judges is overkill. It's boring. The dynamic of three that play off each other well is the best scenario.

Her overuse of her 3 brain cells got boring 5 years ago.

Bret's really the perfect fit for AI, and since America loves him now, Bret's presence would breathe new life into the show.

Personally, I'd just rather that AI would disappear entirely.

She's gotten a pretty decent living for the past 25+ years from one phone call to god...

Bret would make an excellent personality for the show, but having any credibility in the talent department is iffy.

I voted yes. Sitting here thinking about this, I think the ultimate judge would be Perry. I don't think he could say "no" to any contestant though.

Sure, why not.. he deserves a chance. The rest of the judges aren't all that anyway.

Yes. He was a judge on Nashville Star for a couple of seasons (I think) and he did just fine.
