Anyone else foolishly upgrade to this abomination?
Looks great except it freezes up when you try to sync your device.
I'm running windows 7 and have a 160G ipod classic. The ipod beachballs forever while itunes is locked up.
Just curious if anyone else has had problems. If you haven't upgraded. Don't!

I always thought iTunes ran shitty on PCs anyway. Hell, I don't even like it on my Mac that much.

Didn't know there was an update, but since I have that same exact ipod, guess I'll stay away from it too, lol.

It took for-freaking-EVER to install, but seems to be working okay ...
Had to install to subsequently install the upgrade to the iPhone software, which is pretty groovy

i'm still rockin' 9.0.1 at home because that version still thinks my palm pre is an ipod & syncs with it automatically. >:-)
i had to upgrade to 10 at work to figure out this ping thing. maybe it'll get useful/interesting when more users sign up, but right now, ping is kinda pointless. anyone here using ping?

Just downloaded 10.0.1 and still have the same fucking issue. I'm about to smash this classic into 1000 fucking pieces and ship it back to apple with a note of instruction to shove every jagged piece up their ass!!!
Paying for podcasts that I can't even put on the fucking thing.

No problems here...I'm using a hacintosh running OSX 10.6.4, syncing with my 80gb ipod classic or my iPhone 4 is flawless...
I suspect it's the fact that you're using a PC that's the problem!

Nope. Both the pc's I've kept my itunes library in for the past 5 years worked perfectly until I downloaded version 10.
Over at the itunes forum, there are alot of people having the same problem....even mac users.
