I'm currently enjoying a double-sized mug of Blue Moon with several squeezes of orange.

Was at a restaurant last night that has "retro" (i hate that word) beer, complete with the 'old' cans and everything. it was pretty cool, having dinner and downing Old Milwaukee from a can... lol! Plus, they have a huge beer menu that's just awesome.

They had Strohs, too... i wouldn't order it, but I did sample it to see if it still tastes like piss. It does. Had me one Old Mil, for the novelty of it, then said "ok, I need a
good beer now".

Old Milwaukee! do people actually drink that stuff? That's some nasty beer. Actually Schlitz was the "Beer That Made Milwaukee Famous" & is now owned by the Pabst Brewing Company, another former Milwaukee brewery. They've recently returned Schlitz back to it's original formula and has been advertising heavily in the Milwaukee market. Back in the 60's & 70's Schlitz, a Milwaukee brewery was huge. Then they fell on hard times got bought by Strohs who changed the formula and ruined it. So it's nice that the old Schlitz is making a comeback.

I'm about to try this Sam Adams Blackberry Witbier. Man, it hit 104° today. We went from our coldest summer in ages to a scortching start for autumn. It's down to 94° now but still a bit stifling for this time of the year.

The first brewing company to make Pumpkin Ale year-round will get my unwavering support for life. It's a disgrace that it's the best-tasting, yet shortest-lived of the seasonal brews.

Agreed!!!! There are always at least two cases bought to keep in the basement for the holidays....I don't understand why it's a limited edition...I do laugh when it is first found in stores...I have witnessed many happy people that are purchasing that first case!

I don't drink very often, but last night I really got lit with some friends. Felt like shit today! Damn Jagerbombs don't mix with Budweiser too good.... HURL!
Why do we poison ourselves? I know, because it feels good. But, what goes up must come down.

NOTHING mixes well with Budweiser. That's a headache in a can for me. Any Budweiser product gives me a headache.

Here at work at our engineering company, we are designing new paving and drainage systems for the Spoetzel Brewery where Shiner is made in Shiner, Texas. A few of the engineers have already had to made a "field trip" over there.

Yep... the restaurant I was talking about had that too.

I'm going there again in a few weeks, I might have to down one of those just for fun. Ok, maybe not so much for FUN, because, well, ew... but still.

Jaegerbombs are nasty man - every time I've ever had a night involving more than a few of them (or any shot-type drink mixed with Red Bull/Monster etc), the booze wears off and the caffeine is still pumping strong and I wake up about 3 hours later feeling like absolute CRAP. No thanks.
