So, after reading this a few times, I've come away thinking Perry himself didn't actually leave a message.

Can we just adlib the interview now?

Host: Can we expect to hear anything new from you in the future?
Perry: Well, I've got some things I did and I've been getting that itch again and I'm really excited and I've got some somethings I did and I'm really excited and..and.and...I'm really pulling for the Giants and I love baseball and I'm really excited.

Yes, but I think the question on whether or not he was working on something would be a natural thing to ask, regardless of the genre.

What's a Sargent Major, some kind of Grunt rank? As I might of mentioned before, I'm on the outside now when it comes to working for Uncle Sam. I'm not one of those guys who works for half pay by staying in for 25 to 30 years.

Um.....we have the online link in the message that is posted on FA.com. When Nora copied the message over to MR, she didn't copy the link.

It's not an interview, Drew. It's a bunch of guys chatting it up about their love of baseball and their excitement about the Giants FINALLY getting into the playoffs.

Ok. Can you ask Steve if he's free to chat it up with me about music and his and my love for it...and about a solo artist I love FINALLY getting to the studio?

I'm free anytime. :P

FYI KNBR 680 has the Murph & Mac show. Not KNBR 1050. It's coming on right now. Playing DSB.

Sargent Major is I believe a E-9 rank, just above Sgt First class, and Master Sgt.. It's an enlisted rank, not an officer rank. My Army days are a bit foggy but it went like this:

E1 Private
E2 Private 2
E3 Private First Class
E4 Specialist/Corporal
E5 Seargent
E6 Staff Sgt
E7 Sgt 1st Class
E8 Master Sgt
E9 Sgt Major
E10 Sgt Major of the Army

That's about what I figured. Good deal. I'm caught up. Lol. Will listen anyway, as I hate missing out on non-news.

Random aside: he has the exact same laugh as my ex-h, and I always hated the ex's laugh... so this might make me cringe a little.... LMAO

It's a good interview for what it's about; Baseball.
(except for the balk concerning the national anthem)

Writing songs, wants to hit the studio and get them out there, not looking to compete with the success he had with Journey.
