I've been sitting here enjoying my vicodin and checking out youtube videos in amazement. We (well most of us here) are from the greatest era and generation of music ever. I honestly don't think music will EVER get back to the peak in the 80's/early 90's. The talent, the backing from huge record labels, the fans that actually BUY the music and support the artists... it's basically all gone. :cry:

i saw styx july 2,1991 here in memphis.how old were you at this point in time? :lol:

the ballad by styx 'show me the way' was a top ten hit at the time even though the album never cracked the top 60.

Jimbo, you're living in your youth and nostalgia. I grew up on 80s music, so where my heart is, but to call it the greatest era and greatest generation of music ever and ignoring all the brilliant music that came in the '70s and I guess late '60s is kind of mindblowing, sorry.
