Yep. Bush Lite would have shock and awed these people a couple months ago.

I'm fine with this as long as a few conditions are met.

No ground troops.
No innocent killing of civilians
Get Kadhafi
No nation building

These fucking gnat-like nations should be counting their lucky stars we don't take over their countries. Seriously.

I've felt this way for years. We should just annex Mexico. The USA is already becoming Hispanic at an alarming rate. At least that
way we could govern that shit hole.

No one is keen to put troops on the ground there. Just bomb and bomb again will probably be the order of the day for awhile.

Irony of ironies is that Gaddafi came to power by overthrowing western colonialism... via coup of the Libyan monarchy of King Idris, who came to power as a puppet of British...

Works for me. If we could get the good ones out of those countries I'd be in favor of just turning those lands into glazed wastelands.

This guy should have been ousted years ago.

What's up with these dumb fucks from small countries that think they can take on the world?
It just never seems to work out.

The media isn't reporting what really is going on. The French aren't bombing Libya. Theyre just dropping boxes of white flags ( that they used themselves during previous wars )

The President doesn't need to ask for approval for any troop deployments of less than 30 days...and as the assets were in the area and already deployed he doesn't need approval to use them.

Obama should Tomahawk their homes. That would be classic and I would support it 100%.

You republicans make me physically ill. Michael Moore is just smart enough to see through all the BS, and you don't like it.

You're just lucky he doesn't decide to tackle the banking crisis....

This is fucking hilarious! How many times is the '2nd in command' going to be caught since 2001? I think we've 'caught' that guy 10 times.

Michael Moore is an anti-American scumbag that has lined his pockets and stomach by constantly conjuring up conspiracy theories and villianizing this country. He has long been a traitor and someone ... anyone ... should put a fucking bullet in between his eyes. I would post a youtube video applauding his murder. He is a piece of shit and a domestic terrorist.

Using that logic, anybody who questions ANY decision by the government is anti-american.

I hope Moore does a documentary about the banking crisis....

Btw, this country deserves to villianized....

The Libs just threw away their anti-war trump card. They can no longer say Iraq was no threat to the US but Bush bombed it anyway. They can't say that 17 UN resolutions is still no justification since Obama bombed Libya with just one.

I'll credit Moore and the Commie Congressmen for being consistent...still waiting to hear from the resident libs here...

Wrong. 17 Weapons-based resolutions. And when they FINALLY went in - no WMDs to be found. W's involvement with Iraq wasn't humanitatian in nature. It was OIL-based, and 'you insulted m'daddy'...BS.

Obama's IS humanitarian. But I will say that there being oil facilities in Libya is a confound to my argument. Remains to be seen. But we don't get oil from Libya.....So....

This is not a partisan issue. Libya is being run by a mad man who is attacking his own people. Should the world just sit idly by
while mass assaults are carried out by this dinosaur? Their air forces are disabled and that mission has been accomplished.
Now they just need to go remove the dictator and try him for war crimes...or shoot his ass, I don't care which.

Not true at all. This guy said it best:

Fahrenheit 9/11 is a sinister exercise in moral frivolity, crudely disguised as an exercise in seriousness. It is also a spectacle of abject political cowardice masking itself as a demonstration of "dissenting" bravery.

The guy simply realized long ago that there is no shortage of stupid people that will believe anything and he uses America as his pin cushion. Here's a great synopsis of as much:

Indeed, Moore's affected and ostentatious concern for black America is one of the most suspect ingredients of his pitch package. In a recent interview, he yelled that if the hijacked civilians of 9/11 had been black, they would have fought back, unlike the stupid and presumably cowardly white men and women (and children). Never mind for now how many black passengers were on those planes—we happen to know what Moore does not care to mention: that Todd Beamer and a few of his co-passengers, shouting "Let's roll," rammed the hijackers with a trolley, fought them tooth and nail, and helped bring down a United Airlines plane, in Pennsylvania, that was speeding toward either the White House or the Capitol. There are no words for real, impromptu bravery like that, which helped save our republic from worse than actually befell. The Pennsylvania drama also reminds one of the self-evident fact that this war is not fought only "overseas" or in uniform, but is being brought to our cities. Yet Moore is a silly and shady man who does not recognize courage of any sort even when he sees it because he cannot summon it in himself. To him, easy applause, in front of credulous audiences, is everything.

Way to go WAY out in left field to try and prove a point. I loved that movie, I loved Sicko, and I loved Capitalism. and i really loved Maher's 'Religulous'....anything disparaging to say about Bill Maher?
