The $27 Million Reward

I read that it is unlikely that anyone will get the reward for info that lead to the killing of bin Laden because of the way it went down. No key figure had the info that lead to this. There were about two dozen Navy Seal members that were involved in the firefight. I think that each member should get an equal share which would amount to just over $1 million a piece. The government will say that they're a part of the military and just doing their job. But this will go down as the most important mission they will ever be apart of. They earned it, they deserve it, they should get it.

I think it should be split evenly between the servicemen that got Bin Laden, and the interrogators that got the info.

EXCELLENT point Rick. Those who got this info through skill, perseverance, and mastery over their interrogation craft should share in the loot, especially after all the shit they took over the years for their "techniques." A little water never hurt anyone.

What about the chopper pilots? What about guys in the situation room on the Aircraft carrier. What about the guys that took down the number 2 and 3 terrorist figures. Where does it end?
If you pay these guys, then they are nothing more than mercenaries. Once money is involved, everything changes.
Bin Laden was worth over 200 million dollars. If one million buys his head how much buys a tip off to save it? Wiki leaks could probably give us a good guesstimate on how much treason is going for now days, they seem to have found a market for it already amongst some of our servicemen.

We are going to have to pay for all of it.
