I must be really showing my fucking age, but I just checked the Top 10 singles on iTunes and I have never heard of any of these songs! Not one of them! :? Additionally, I have never heard of the artists that sing songs 1, 3, 9 and 10.

Singles:

1. "Rolling In the Deep," ADELE

2. "Give Me Everything (feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer)," Pitbull

3. "Party Rock Anthem (feat. Lauren Bennett & GoonRock)," LMFAO

4. "Hair," Lady GaGa

5. "The Lazy Song," Bruno Mars

6. "On the Floor (feat. Pitbull)," Jennifer Lopez

7. "E.T. (feat. Kanye West)," Katy Perry

8. "Just Can't Get Enough," Black Eyed Peas

9. "Super Bass," Nicki Minaj

10. "The Show Goes On," Lupe Fiasco

You just need to hang out with my daughter for a week...she'll get you all caught up. It's the only reason I know about every song on that list. Guess it's true that kids keep you young?

Does watching reruns of Silver Spoons, Diff'rent Strokes and The Facts Of Life count?

Love that song by Adele, that gal can throw down a song. And of course, I love me some Bruno Mars......love his voice, songwriting, and R&B influenced delivery.

I used to like the Black Eyed Peas, but they've gotten so techno/autotune lately, I can barely stand to listen to anything new they put out. Saying that though, I do like some of Katy Perry's tunes.

The one I'm routing for on The Voice (Vicci) used that one for her blind audtion, not the easiest one to use. :o But she threw it down like nobody's business. Love her voice and passion. Reminds of a cross between Melissa Ethridge and Pink.

I had an AutoTune filter put into my head. It filters everything that uses it...
so no, I've never heard a single one of these.

Well, I'm sure you haven't heard Lady Gaga's song off her new album, then, that will probably be a single soon, also.

Your filter is malfunctioning then, cuz Bruno Mars and Adele should have made it through then.

Are you serious? Bruno Mars? SMH. Horrible. And Adele? Decent voice, shit music. WTF is wrong with the music today?!

Disposable shit that no one will remember in 5 years....when any of these 'artists' record album number 5....let me know. :?

I agree with you! Frankly, I am shocked and outright disgusted that there isn't a single Crazy Lixx song in the top ten. What has become of the world of music?! Crazy Lixx can and will blow away any band in the universe. U2? Posers, compared to Lixx. Springsteen? Please, don't even unpack your axe Boss. Journey? Hahaha, Lixx will destroy Journey and their bullshit 36 hits and 44 million albums sold. I am telling you, the only band that may, and I use the term may lightly, is Danger Danger. Those guys are close to Crazy Lixx. Again, the top ten should be a solid block of Crazy Lixx with some D2 sprnkled in.

I originally meant that as far as those two went they don't resort to autotune. But yeah, I don't know much about Adele's music beyond that song, but she does have a good voice. And Bruno is far from horrible. Has written songs for lots of artists. And the little dude can sing his ass off. Like his R&B groove on alot of his stuff........... loved his performance at the last Grammy's. Sings a bit at the beginning, but his main part is @ around 2:20 ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3exwJyd ... re=related

I think he's a breath of fresh air with his oldschool R&B delivery......amongst all the pop crap out there now. 8)

And I wish I had never heard of any of the others, either.

Can't say I've heard any of them either, although I have heard other songs by a couple of those artists and can identify them. Some of my friends/acquaintances laugh at me/make fun of me etc. for being relatively young and so "out of touch." But hey, the stuff just doesn't move me.

I'm not one of those goofballs that goes around telling people their music is total shit before they ask me what I think because it's simply not worth my time, but people who ask me know how I feel.

Honestly, all my closest friends are people who at least share a lion's share of my music tastes. Just like I never trust a man who doesn't curse, I would never trust a man who only listens to shit music like exclusively listening to rap.

I had to YouTube most of that, except for 'On the Floor', thanks to promotion on Amazon.ca - why exactly is that guy Pitbull featured in just about every song coming out now? I can't stand rap and he isn't even very good. It turns out I knew the song 'ET', but I thought it was actually called 'Futuristic Lover' - it's Katy Perry, so I don't care anyway.

Admit it - who else got a laugh out of the 'Party Rock Anthem' video by LMFAO?
