Nah, not crazy. I'm just not a fan of the term "fixed" when referring to permanent sterilization. It implies that something is wrong with a woman that is able to bear children....that's all. Now, can't we just talk about something less controversial? Like religion or college football?

My wife even uses the term "fixed" and laughs about it. I knocked her up even after the procedure (ectopicly). Her little insurance policy keeping me physically able in case I ever did anything stupid.

She's a wiseass. No words offend her.

Past the age of 40 between adults there can be something wrong with being able to have children. At least I didn't take her out behind the barn and shoot her.

I have no problem at all with women being permanently sterilized. I also have no problem with anyone that has no problem with the term "fixed" just saying, I myself don't like it. That's all. But, I am, afterall a midwife-I'm supposed to be all hippie-like and feminist like that-right???
