$170 a month for cell phones that nobody will freaking answer!

When they get home there may be a tensile strength test done so see how well the phones fare being thrown against a brick wall. :D

My landline is only $20 a month and the 2 cells my family has cost around what yours does Rick. It is a ripoff. Considering other options,.

I don't mind paying that for 3 phones, but I get irritated when I try to call Debbie and Neelee and they don't answer. Neelee was at a football game and a thunderstorm developed. Couldn't get her to answer or respond to my text message. Couldn't get ahold of Debbie to see if she was going to pick her up. Debbie came home and dug her phone out of the bottom of her purse to see that, yes, I had called twice. She went to get Neelee who wasn't where she said she would be, so she's grounded now.

Ok, rant over. No cell phones were destroyed in the events of the evening.

I only used 6 minutes for talking on my cell this month.

80 texts.

A good bit of MB on my data plan though (tethering)

I feel your pain, Rick. Some of my kids answer their phone but my son won't. Apparently it isn't "cool" to answer your phone, especially if it's your mom calling...but he will text me-he really does love me-just can't ruin his rep by talking to me. If I really need to talk and not text I will text him "call me" so he can hide somewhere and make the call.

I have to think that with speed improvements, down the road, maybe our internet connections, television feeds and of course cell phones will all use the cell phone system as a means of delivery. No more wires.

My daughter always answers if she's not in class or at work, but she WILL get back to me. Debbie is actually the worst. I've got JSS's "Stand Up and Shout!" as her ringtone for when I call, so she knows it's me. Maybe I should take a hint. Neelee didn't even bother to return my text to let me know she was ok. No excuse for that. I'm still aggravated about that.

I enjoyed getting to talk to you, however brief it was, the day I was hanging out with Liam.

My husband takes about two minutues reading the screen trying to figure out who's calling. I'll call him and get so pissed off when it goes to voicemail and I know it's because he sat there staring at the screen instead of just answering it.....even though I have my own ringtone!!!!

It is irritating. I need to quit worrying so much about stuff like that. No wonder I have Chrons.

I've thought about making my ringtone a recording of my voice yelling "IT'S ME, DUMBASS!"

Just join the Army National Guard, be in until you make SGT, become a recruiter and they'll give you one you can use for free. I've been a recruiter for so long that when I first started, they gave us pagers. I've never had to buy a cell phone, because I've always had my work cell. The damn thing is glued to me 24/7. :?
